Mullan Enterprises Bookkeeping
This Privacy Policy explains how the Mullan Enterprises Bookkeeping application ("the application") accesses, uses, and protects information when connected to QuickBooks Online. It is written to be a plain, accurate description of an internal accounting tool — not a consumer product.
Who operates this application
The application is operated by Mullan Financial LLC, a subsidiary of Mullan Enterprises LLC, based in El Dorado Hills, California. Mullan Financial LLC is responsible for the application and for the information it accesses on behalf of Mullan Enterprises and its affiliated companies.
Purpose of the application
The application is an internal accounting and general-ledger system used by Mullan Enterprises LLC and its affiliated companies to maintain their books of record. It is not offered to the public and is not a commercial bookkeeping product; it exists solely to support the accounting and financial-reporting needs of the Mullan Enterprises family of companies.
Information we access via QuickBooks Online
When an authorized user connects a QuickBooks Online company to the application through Intuit's authorized OAuth 2.0 API, the application accesses accounting data belonging to that company, including:
- the chart of accounts;
- classes and locations (departments);
- transactions and related bookkeeping records (for example journal entries, invoices, bills, and other accounting transactions); and
- the reference data needed to reconcile the company's books within the application.
The application accesses only the QuickBooks Online company that the authorized user explicitly connects. It does not access, browse, or enumerate any other QuickBooks company, and it does not access QuickBooks accounts belonging to anyone other than the connecting company.
How your information is handled
Data retrieved from QuickBooks Online is processed and stored securely in Microsoft Azure. Credentials and secrets used to connect to QuickBooks Online (client identifiers, client secrets, and refresh tokens) are held in Azure Key Vault and are never stored in source code or in plain configuration files.
Access to the application and to the accounting data it holds is restricted to authorized Mullan Enterprises personnel. Information obtained from QuickBooks Online is used only for the connected company's own bookkeeping, accounting, and financial-reporting purposes. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties, and it is not used for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the company's own accounting.
Data retention
Accounting data is retained for as long as needed to maintain accurate books of record and to satisfy the company's accounting and record-keeping obligations. If a QuickBooks connection is disconnected, the application stops retrieving new data from that company; previously recorded bookkeeping data may be retained as part of the permanent accounting record, consistent with standard bookkeeping practice.
Your rights and how to disconnect
The authorized user who connects a QuickBooks Online company controls that connection and may revoke it at any time from within QuickBooks Online, under the company's connected apps or third-party access settings. Revoking access immediately prevents the application from making any further QuickBooks Online API calls for that company.

This policy may be updated from time to time as the application evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
